About Kakan Regal

A home where residents are family, not a number.

Kakan Regal Healthcare is a small group home in Indianapolis built on a simple promise: every adult living with a disability deserves a safe, loving place where they are truly known.

We keep our home intentionally small — just 5 or 6 residents — so our team can give each person the time, attention, and dignity they deserve. A registered nurse is on site around the clock.

We serve adults with intellectual, developmental, physical, and acquired disabilities. Families across Marion, Hamilton, Hendricks, and Johnson counties trust us as an extension of their own home.

A Kakan Regal caregiver
Our caregivers

Trained, kind, and here to stay.

Every Kakan Regal team member is background-checked, CPR-certified, and completes specialized training in disability care, medication administration, and emergency response.

A registered nurse is always on site, leading clinical care, supervising medications, and responding immediately to any health changes. That means families can rest easier — day or night.

Every resident is treated with respect, patience, and the highest standard of privacy.
Consistency
A small home means familiar caregivers and predictable routines every single day.
Family-First
Families are partners in every care decision and every plan we build.
Family voices
“We looked at larger facilities, but this felt like home from the first visit. The nurses know my son, the caregivers know his routines, and we are never left guessing.”

Common questions from Indianapolis families.

How many residents live in the home at one time?

Our home is intentionally small, with just 5–6 residents. This allows us to provide personalized attention, consistent caregivers, and a calm, family-like atmosphere.

Yes. A registered nurse is present in the home at all times to oversee medications, monitor health, and respond immediately to any concerns.

Do you accept Medicaid waivers?

Yes. We accept Indiana HCBS waivers, PathWays for Aging, most private insurance, VA benefits, and private pay. Our intake team will walk you through eligibility at no cost.

What areas do you serve?

We serve adults and families across Marion County and surrounding areas including Hamilton, Hendricks, Johnson, and Boone counties.

Can families visit or call anytime?
